Boston then onward to Toronto

On the tube heading for China town for our coach journey from New york to Boston. We will miss New york for sure!
Arrived in Boston and had no where to stay...The manager of the train station saw us wondering around with a map loaded with our backpacks and let us use his office! That is what you call a result!!

Having dinner in China town (Boston) where I had my first low. Arrived off the coach to be faced with two men verbally fighting, later found somewhere to stay...turned out to be a womens refuge with some weird looking women in it, then topped off with a seagul trying to eat a pigeon by struggling it by its neck! I was practically crying! First low of the trip...and no doubt there'll be more to come!
Chilling out in the sun in the grounds of Harvard University. Had a tour that was pretty interesting.

Chess competitions in a random cafe outside Harvard University. Anybody could take part but we had no hope...these people meant business! NERDS!!

Toronto!! Some random guy gave Russell a rose to give to me. Each time we passed somebody they said 'Ahh what a lovely guy' (meaning Russ of course) but Russ didn't hang about telling them that it was a random guy that gave it to me and not him! Didn't want to ruin his street cred...Cheeky git! I milked it!

       Sky Tower in Toronto! HUGE!!

At the top of the Sky Tower. After being to the top of the Rocker Feller Centre and also the revolving restaurant in Times Square we were like a pair of spoilt brats! It was an amazing view of the whole of the city but I think we'll give high tower views a break for a bit! :)

Took a trip out to Toronto Island which was stunning. This is the view of the skyline from the boat.

Never make the mistake of walking out of a public toilet without checking that your dress isn't caught in your knickers...or in my case your shorts!!

Us chilling out by the lake on Toronto Island.

There were bikes you could hire to cycle around Toronto Island but being the cheap skates that we are we just hired one and shared!

My bum hurt a lot!

Looking back over at Toronto downtown.
I took over the steering...dangerous experience. Its so hard to control the bike when you are practically sitting on the handle bars!
That night Russ surprised me with tickets to see MICHAEL BUBLE!!!!! Loved it. First concert I've ever been to. I was so excited, acted like such a big kid!
He really was this close! :)  Russ was screaming in the aisles!!

Leaving Toronto. Arrived at the coach deport to find that we were an HOUR EARLY!! In our hostel there were 6 clocks showing the different times of different places around the world...Russ was looking at the wrong one!! haha

  1. Hey guys...this computer that I'm on is free BUT it is so so slow! We've been sat here for 5 hours loading up photos and trying to update the blog. Russ has been kicking back reading shantaram and drinking Budweiser. It is now 3.30am and the night clubs around us have closed. Its finally quiet and we can sleep. We will update this further asap... watch this space! :) xx
