Niagara Falls

Just off the bus to Niagara and ready for lunch...pesto pasta!!
Our Hostel just up the hill from the falls. A really weird owned this and he was pretty forceful on us staying another night, we didn't!!
This is seconds away from the falls...why do they have to make such a natural thing so bloody touristy!
There it is...Niagara Falls. Stunning! (Right on the road side...shocked me!)
Cheesy photo before boarding the 'Maid of the Mist' boat. These macs were just a thin plastic sheet...with the sun shining we were soaked, not only on the outside but from the inside with sweat! Boiled!

View of the falls on the American side.

Getting soaked as we went really close to the horseshoe shaped falls on the Canadian side.

American side from the top! Posing for the camera while squinting!

Just in case you haven't seen enough of our ugly faces already! (Horseshoe falls behind us)
Russ at the top of the falls. The spray coming off the falls was like torrential rain!

Dinner at Wendy's! Russ has set the challenge that we have to try every different fast food in America! Watch this...waistline!!

Chilling on the grass in front of the falls watching a battle of the bands contest...what a view! Later discovered I was bitten by grassy bugs!! Itchy!
Fireworks over the falls.
Day 2 Niagara. Took a walk over the bridge between Canada (the Side we stayed on) and America.
View from the bridge.

One foot in Canada and the other in America...weird! :)
View from the American side. Canadian side was definitely better as you could see more.
Russ inside one of the barrels that people used to go over the falls in! Some people actually survived!
Managed to get away from the weird hostel owner and found ourselves with a en-suite heart shaped bath for $10 less! That is what you call a RESULT!!

Boston then onward to Toronto

On the tube heading for China town for our coach journey from New york to Boston. We will miss New york for sure!
Arrived in Boston and had no where to stay...The manager of the train station saw us wondering around with a map loaded with our backpacks and let us use his office! That is what you call a result!!

Having dinner in China town (Boston) where I had my first low. Arrived off the coach to be faced with two men verbally fighting, later found somewhere to stay...turned out to be a womens refuge with some weird looking women in it, then topped off with a seagul trying to eat a pigeon by struggling it by its neck! I was practically crying! First low of the trip...and no doubt there'll be more to come!
Chilling out in the sun in the grounds of Harvard University. Had a tour that was pretty interesting.

Chess competitions in a random cafe outside Harvard University. Anybody could take part but we had no hope...these people meant business! NERDS!!

Toronto!! Some random guy gave Russell a rose to give to me. Each time we passed somebody they said 'Ahh what a lovely guy' (meaning Russ of course) but Russ didn't hang about telling them that it was a random guy that gave it to me and not him! Didn't want to ruin his street cred...Cheeky git! I milked it!

       Sky Tower in Toronto! HUGE!!

At the top of the Sky Tower. After being to the top of the Rocker Feller Centre and also the revolving restaurant in Times Square we were like a pair of spoilt brats! It was an amazing view of the whole of the city but I think we'll give high tower views a break for a bit! :)

Took a trip out to Toronto Island which was stunning. This is the view of the skyline from the boat.

Never make the mistake of walking out of a public toilet without checking that your dress isn't caught in your knickers...or in my case your shorts!!

Us chilling out by the lake on Toronto Island.

There were bikes you could hire to cycle around Toronto Island but being the cheap skates that we are we just hired one and shared!

My bum hurt a lot!

Looking back over at Toronto downtown.
I took over the steering...dangerous experience. Its so hard to control the bike when you are practically sitting on the handle bars!
That night Russ surprised me with tickets to see MICHAEL BUBLE!!!!! Loved it. First concert I've ever been to. I was so excited, acted like such a big kid!
He really was this close! :)  Russ was screaming in the aisles!!

Leaving Toronto. Arrived at the coach deport to find that we were an HOUR EARLY!! In our hostel there were 6 clocks showing the different times of different places around the world...Russ was looking at the wrong one!! haha

Times Square and the revolving restaurant

Times Square
Dinner for two at the revolving Restaurant...fantastic view of the whole of New York. Thanks Mama!
The hotel at which revolving restaurant was at the top of!

Ground Zero and the Yankees Game

Where the Twin Towers once stood. Was quite emotional to see.
The memorial to the Fire Fighters who were killed in the fire.
Yankees Stadium with my Hotdog!! (not a footlong mind...that was too many pennies)
One Happy man!
View from our seats! We paid for standing tickets but the lady must have felt sorry for us and moved us to these...winner!!! :)

Walking round New York...

Outside the Met Art Museum..it was closed on Mondays! Typical!
View from the top of Rockerfeller Centre of the Empire State Building....bit dark!
Slightly better Picture...this photo does not do it justice! It really was an incredible view.
Finally got the hang of the subway!
Cream Cheese Pretzel for breakfast...these things are everywhere! Our bellys are growing fatter with everyday!
Caught the boat to Liberty and Ellis Islands. This is the view looking back, amazing!
Statue of Liberty!
This is what happens when you try and take the photos yourself! :)
Can you see my crown!?
New York Skyline
